Project Manager
<p>The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of activities associated with project life cycle, including initiating, planning, estimating, organizing, controlling, change management, and closing using project management tools. They will coordinate staff in the implementation of projects to ensure they are completed in a timely and cost effective manner.
<p>
Responsibilities:
• Implements the terms of the project contract
• Initiates projects, including identifying and analyzing preliminary needs, budget considerations, time and resource estimates and defining the project scope and objectives
• Identifies the roles, responsibilities and accountabilities of project members in relation to resource requirements for specific project tasks
• Provides direction and structure for the project, establishing clear and precise goals and objectives and establishing timeframes and budgets
• Establishes the project schedule and manages its implementation
• Tracks and manages the project budget
• Is the primary project level interface for daily customer issues and updates, completing status reports and conducting periodic project reviews
• Coordinates and directs activities of staff, tracking progress against the project plan
• Evaluates project results and closes the project by getting final customer sign-off</p>
<p />
Qualifications:
• 2 – 3 years project management experience
• Working towards PMP designation is an asset
• Experience in the telecommunications or construction industries
• Experience in cellular radio installation and testing experience is an asset
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office)
• Familiarity with wireless technology
• Financial acumen and customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
